Jesus had a big job to do. God had anointed Him (given Him this job) to show God’s love to a hurting world. But Jesus was going to need help. So from among His disciples, He chose 12. We call them Apostles.
If you want to learn more about Jesus, you are a disciple too. But “we His work must do”. What was Jesus’ work? Showing God’s love. How can you show God’s love?
Matthew 5:16 “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”
