Are you going to the party?
John writes in John 14:2 that Jesus told his disciples he was going away for a while to prepare a place in his father’s house for us. “When everything is ready, I will come and get you, so that you will always be with me where I am.” (John 14:3 NIV) Jesus is coming back to take us to live with Him. Lots of people ask what heaven will be like. The Bible tells us it is a place where there will be no more tears or sickness. But the Bible also compares heaven to a wedding banquet. Have you been to a wedding? Maybe a birthday party?
